During the 2006 – 2007 school year:

• Ten highly qualified teaching artists collaborated with 49 teachers in four schools. 
• More than 1,240 students benefited from this unique learning opportunity where the artist and teacher focused on making meaningful connections between core curriculum concepts and the arts.  
• Powerful Arts worked with arts consultant Kathleen Allen on both program evaluation and student learning assessment methods. Preliminary results will be published in fall 2007.
